Sí Se Puede: Lessons for Community Transformation – Written by longtime Mayfair evaluator, Renee A. Berger, this document is a report written to the community development field about lessons learned from the Hewlett Foundation’s Neighborhood Improvement Initiative in Mayfair between 1996-2004 (2006).
Results, Resilience and Renewal: Mayfair Index of Progress Report – This report provides a clear, vivid, data-driven picture of life in the greater Mayfair area of San José. It gives policymakers and community development practitioners an accurate portrait of the many working-poor, largely immigrant communities throughout Silicon Valley. This report was produced by Collaborative Economics and the Field Research Corporation (2005).
Mayfair Workers Survey – This report tells the story of an unwaveringly hard-working community that continues to piece together work, income and housing, none of which is ever adequate. It was produced by the Community Development Institute with support from the Comité Cesar Chavez (2004).
