2009 Community Hero Award: Organization
Applied Survey Research recognizes Somos as its May "community champion" for our work to improve the lives of children and families in Mayfair.
Legal Advocates for Children and Youth, a program of the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, gave this award to Somos Mayfair for our work with Mayfair families in support of vulnerable children and youth. This beautiful short documentary about us was produced for and featured in the award ceremony:
2008 Santa Clara County Office of Human Relations Immigrant Relations and Integration Services Award
This award went to our popular theater group, Teatro Familias Unidas, for outstanding innovation in giving voice to immigrant women in Santa Clara County.

2008 YMCA Activate America Award
We received this award for our work in combating obesity and diabetes in the Mayfair community.
